Step-by-Step

1. Export XML from Showfile:
   • For fast and easy transfer, select a USB drive before exporting.
     Multiple objects within one XML is possible.
   • GrandMA2: Use “Export Sequence (number)” or “Export Timecode (number)” or Setup > Patch > Export.
   • GrandMA3: Use Settings > Show Creator > Export or Settings > Patch > Export.
2. Import XML File:
   • Click Import grandMA2/3 XML File and select the exported .xml file.
   • The tool detects the data type automatically and shows a summary of imported items and lines.
3. Preview & Setup:
   • Use the Preview Item dropdown to browse through the imported items.
   • Configure the available options before exporting.
4. Export:
   • Choose your desired format: CSV, XLS, or PDF.

User Interface

Import

• Import grandMA2/3 XML File: Opens a file picker to load a grandMA2 or grandMA3 XML export. Supported types: Patch/Layer, Sequence, Timecode. Multiple objects within one XML is possible.

Table Fields

• Preview Item: Dropdown to select which imported item to display in the table.
• The table columns adapt to show a summary of the imported data type.

CSV Export

• CSV Sequence: Include Cue Parts: Include cue parts as separate rows in the CSV output.
• Export CSV: Saves a .csv file using your configured delimiter, including all imported fields.

XLS Export

• XLS Sequence: Include Cue Parts: Include cue parts as separate rows in the XLS output.
• XLS: Layout: Chose Single Sheet for all items on one sheet or Sheet per Item for each item to get its own sheet.
• Export XLS: Saves a .xlsx file, including all imported fields.

PDF Export

• PDF Sequence: Include Cue Parts: Include cue parts as separate rows in the PDF output.
• PDF: Orientation: Choose Portrait or Landscape page layout.
• PDF: Fields: Select which columns to include in the PDF.
• Export PDF: Saves a multi-page .pdf file with one section per item.
